The nursery is on a working farm with wide outdoor spaces, daily nature play, and real animal interactions as part of the rhythm (yes, breakfast with the animals is a thing here).
Salary:
- £15 per hour (£31,200/year equivalent)
Hours:
- Condensed 4-day working week.
- 7.15am to 6.15pm each day
- Also looking for lunch cover
Company Benefits:
- Up to 100% company sick pay (subject to policy).
- Performance-based annual bonuses.

- A unique setting: farmland, extensive outdoor learning spaces, and daily animal interactions.
- Supportive leadership in a growing independent nursery, with real opportunities to progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a calm, welcoming environment where children feel secure and confident to explore.
- Support learning through play and curiosity-led experiences that follow children’s interests and next steps.
- Observe, assess and record children’s development in line with the EYFS, contributing to meaningful planning.
- Support daily routines and transitions with warmth, patience and consistency.
- Make the most of our outdoor spaces, embedding nature-based learning into everyday practice.
- Take part in farm-based moments and animal interactions in a safe, purposeful way.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping communication open and respectful.
- Work closely with colleagues to keep practice consistent, and the environment safe, organised and inviting.
What we are looking for:
- A relevant and up-to-date Level 3 Early Years qualification (required).
- A calm, reflective and nurturing approach with a genuine passion for child-led learning.
- Confidence working as part of a team, with good communication and a “we’ve got this” mindset.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons, and excited by a nature-rich, farm-based setting.
- A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to best practice.
- Paediatric First Aid is desirable (or willingness to complete it if needed).
