An outstanding and pioneering nursery established with an excellent reputation and gold level standards is now recruiting for experienced senior nursery practitioners.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE: QTS, EYP, EYTS, EYT OR L5 Diploma in Childcare
Salaries:
- Paying up to £42K per annum

- Fixed Holidays: 9 working days at Xmas, 4 days at Easter, 2 weeks at the end of August PLUS Bank Holidays.

Hours:
- FULL TIME contract (Raising 2's, 3's & 4's Room) Permanent, all year round, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (A minimum commitment of one academic year is required)
The Role:
- Must have outstanding observation and planning skills with excellent written and spoken English.
- Working as a key person you must be able to build strong relationships with both children and their families.
- Planning stimulating and fun activities whilst closely following the Early Years curriculum
- Observing children and recording early years milestones
- Encouraging learning through meaningful play
- Working to maintain Health & Safety and Safeguarding Practices within the setting.
- Creating a fun, safe and warm environment where children can flourish and grow.
Essential qualities and qualifications:
- L5 Diploma or a recognised teaching qualification such as QTS, EYTS, EYP.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- A passion for childcare and a full understanding of the EYFS
- Experience of using a tablet for reports are desirable.
- Outstanding written and spoken English with great communication skills.
- Committed to the safeguarding of children.
- Enthusiastic, energetic and charismatic
- Uses initiative, adaptable and offer flexibility.
- Commitment to continued professional development.
- Be approachable, caring and have a passion for working with children.
- Be a reliable member of the team.
- Be organised, conscientious and honest.
- Be an excellent and effective communicator with children, staff and parents and professionals.
- To enjoy working with young children, providing stimulating activities to further their learning.
- A clear enhanced DBS certificate on the update service.
- A declaration of Health Form confirming your suitability to work with children.
- Experience of working with Tapestry software would be beneficial
- A completed Suitability to Work Annual Declaration Form, confirming that you are not disqualified from working with children under the age of 8.
