Nursery Room Leader
A position has become available for an experienced Qualified Nursery Room Leader at an independent day nursery in Putney/Wandsworth.
Hours:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, all year around 45 hours per week
Salary:
- Paying up to £34,000 - £36,000 per annum.

The Role:
- Supporting children's development through the provision of safe, stimulating child-centred learning and play
- Delivering activities to support and extend children’s learning and development outcomes
- Monitoring, assessing and recording children’s progress
- Planning and delivering next steps to support children’s development
- Being a responsible Key person of enrolled children
- Leading a Team of Staffs efficiently and effectively on daily basis of nursery operation
- Support Nursery Management Team with Closing and Opening of the nursery setting based on Rota Shift
- Prepare & Implement Induction & Supervision of Staffs under your management
- Prepare & Conduct Parents Meeting and other Nursery Events
- Actively participate in operational meetings with staffs and management team to improve daily operation of the nursery setting.
Experience/Qualifications needed:
- Relevant UK Early Years Teaching Qualification of level 3 or above
- A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- A good understanding of Safeguarding procedures in Early Years nursery setting
- A good understanding of planning, observing and record-keeping procedures
- A positive, dedicated team work sprit and passion for children's learning
- A Strong Punctuality and Work-Ethics with commitment to work
