Purple Dove are looking for a Qualified Nursery Nurse to join a Nursery in Woodside Park, N12.
We are looking for a L3 or L2 diploma qualified candidate (must be a recognised early years qualification )
We will consider experienced unqualified staff with extensive experience, knowledge and passion
Salary:
Paying up to £28,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience
Hours:
- Full Time, 40 hours per week, nursery open 50 weeks
- Either 4 long days or 5 days/week
- The Nursery is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm
- Shift patterns start at 7.50am and end at 6pm

The Role:
- To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times.
- To deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress and to support other staff in doing so.
- To help ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times.
- To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others.
- To understand and work to preschool nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies
- To plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early learning goals and support others in doing so.
- To ensure records are properly maintained.
- To liaise closely with parents/carers, informing them about the nursery and its curriculum, exchanging information about children’s progress and encouraging parents’ involvement.
- To work in partnership with Manager and undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the nursery’s aims and objectives.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a Level 2/3 Early Years Qualification
- Be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for working with children.
- Have Experience of working with children in an early years environment.
- Be a good role model.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Have a good sense of humour.
- Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Have sound knowledge how to support children’s learning.
- Have experience in planning and delivering EYFS.
- Have some understanding of Montessori methods
