Part Time Morning role: 7.30am to 1.30pm, Monday to Friday, all year round. the role is 90% room based and 10% office/admin based.
Salary £21,000 to £24,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

The Role:
- Liaise with parents and other staff members.
- Plan and implement the daily routine in the room.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.
- Be aware of nursery standards and policies and make sure they are met.
- Be a key worker and take responsibility for their records, learning and general care.
- Be confident in your profession.
- Plan and prepare daily activities meeting the curriculum planning according to EYFS.
- To take observations on your key children ensuring confidentiality.
- Changing nappies or toileting, tidying room and cleaning equipment.
- To ensure all children are happy and well cared for and their individual needs are being met.Key Responsibilities:
In addition to general duties that all staff adhere to, such as in-room practice, the successful candidate will be engaged with:
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Parent engagement via our online learning journal (Famly), outside agency engagement and peer engagement with other managers in the group
- Develop and implement age- and ability-appropriate programmes of activities and events, including clubs and focus on curriculum intent (based on the approach of the nursery and targeted to individual children), accounting for SEND if required.
- Maintain general high standards and adopt ethos of the organisation at all times.
- Work collaboratively with peers for the betterment of the business to ensure all children benefit from better outcomes.
THE CANDIDATE:
- A positive and dedicated attitude and a real passion for childcare and development.
- Being able to provide and sustain a caring environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Have a minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Childcare and Early Years Education.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Previous 1-2 years experience in nursery setting.
- Driving licence is desirable for roles involving transportation or outings
