QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE: Level 3 or above, Full and Relevant, UK Childcare Qualification.

Purple Dove are looking for a Qualified Nursery Nurse to join a Nursery in Epsom.

Salary:

- paying up to £26,777 per annum

Hours:

  • Full Time, 36 hours per week, nursery open 52 weeks
  • The Nursery is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm

Benefits:

  • 26 days annual leave rising to, 28 days after two years, then 30 days after 5 years

The Role:

  • To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times.
  • To deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress and to support other staff in doing so.
  • To help ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times.
  • To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others.
  • To understand and work to preschool nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies
  • To plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early learning goals and support others in doing so.
  • To ensure records are properly maintained.
  • To liaise closely with parents/carers, informing them about the nursery and its curriculum, exchanging information about children’s progress and encouraging parents’ involvement.
  • To work in partnership with Manager and undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the nursery’s aims and objectives.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a Level 3 Early Years Qualification
  • Be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for working with children.
  • Have Experience of working with children in an early years environment.
  • Be a good role model.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Have a good sense of humour.
  • Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Have sound knowledge how to support children’s learning.
  • Have experience in planning and delivering EYFS.
