We have an exciting senior role to manage a baby unit for an established nursery setting in Epsom, Surrey

Baby Unit Manager (up to 16 babies within unit)
Must have a Level 3 or above Childcare Qualification and anything above L3 is an added bonus!
The Manager Role - Will need to lead and manage the baby unit adhering to all the nursery policy and practices. This role comes with great responsibility and the right candidate will have experience leading in a similar role and act as a role model and point of guidance for the staff team. They will ensure they deliver excellent standards, and that all children receive high quality experiences in line with their individual needs.
Salary:
- The Baby Manager Role - paying up to £32,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
Hours:
Full Time, 42.5 hour per week.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must have a Level 3 or above Childcare Qualification
- Current First Aid Certificate (for children/ adults).
- Current Safeguarding Children Certificate.
- Minimum of five years of experience of caring for young children (with at least 2 years specific experience of caring for babies) ensuring good, appropriate behaviour and offering high quality provision, care and delivering high standards of learning and development .
- To have a minimum of two years of experience of working with and/ or leading other adults in a team.
- To have experience of Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- To have experience of implementing the EYFS.
- The Manager to have experience of developing staff/ leading training/ leading induction, supervision and appraisal systems.
- To have experience of developing staff/ giving training.
- To have experience of implementing core policies, such as Safeguarding, Equality and Health and Safety.
- To have experience of developing good working parental relationships.
- To have implemented key policies across different settings and contexts.
- To have experience of observing and assessing children and planning for their needs.
