Nursery Nurse, Richmond, Surrey

We are excited to be recruiting for a very small independent, home based nursery located in the leafy suburb of Richmond. Close to public transport links and parking available on street.

This would suit someone who is looking for personal development within a small supportive and friendly team.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE: Level 3 in a recognised full and relevant childcare qualification. (We will consider recently qualified candidates or unqualified with proven relevant nursery experience.

Salary:

• From £27,000 to £31,000 per annum based on a full time, 40 hour permanent contract.
• We will also consider candidates looking for part time hours (5 or 5.5 hours a day, 8am to 1.30pm or 1.30 to 6.30)

The Role:

• Motivate and stimulate children through play and structure.
• Provide care and support to children within a secure and safe learning environment to children from 6 months to 5 years old.
• Assist with the development of a children through the EYFS.
• Help children develop curiosity and knowledge.
• Work with others as part of a team and be able to lead and motivate your peers.
• Share knowledge gained with other practitioners and build and maintain relationships with parents.
• Observe, assess and record each child's progress.
• Ensure the health and safety of children and staff is maintained during all activities, both inside and outside the nursery.
• Observe the policies and procedures of the nursery.
• Helping with cleaning the nursery at the start and end of day
• Successful applicants will need to have a clear DBS check and be able to provide two references upon request for employment to commence.
• Communicate and liaise with parents updating them on children's progress

The contract:

• Full Time, Permanent Role based on 40hours a week or Part time contract offered. Nursery opening hours 8am to 6.30pm.

The Candidate:

Must be qualified  with a L3  diploma in childcare and have experience of working within a similar setting. Caring and nurturing individual who is looking for a smaller setting (15 place setting) where you are able to be more hands on and involved in your key children. If you are bilingual in Spanish, this would be an added bonus.
