Purple Dove are currently recruiting Early Years Practitioners to join a friendly Nursery team providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children, from 6 months to 4 years of age.

We are looking for a motivated, determined and caring Early Years Practitioners/Nursery Nurses to help children of all ages discover a love of learning. So if you are looking for a stimulating and rewarding job, you have come to the right place.

Salary:

  • Paying around £30,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Hours:

  • Full time or Part time, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am – 6.00pm varying shifts, on an all year contract.

Holidays:

  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday (inclusive of the usual statutory holidays)

Day-to-day tasks include working in partnership with parents, carers, and professionals to promote the well-being of the children, implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, and assisting with creative displays within the Nursery.

You will have experience of working within a similar setting and be able to provide a fun and stimulating learning environment.

You will have a childcare qualification, ideally NVQ 2 or 3 qualified and know the EYFS curriculum.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential.

A knowledge of the independent school sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
